NACD Full Cave Diver

Become a top of the line technical diver & go full cave navigation.

NACD Full Cave Diver

Go Full Cave & master your technical diving and navigation inside these complex underground cenote systems. Perfect your technical journey as a NACD (National Association for Cave Diving)  Full Cave diver. Dive full cave and learn about complex navigation (T’s, jumps, cenote crossover & circuits). Full penetration to 1/3 of gas supply and continue perfecting  your emergency responses to light-restricted & no visibility scenarios to ensure a safe diving experience.

*To apply for this course you must have a technical intro to cave diver certification.

Guided by a NACD Full Cave Instructor, you’ll immerse on a 4 days (8 dives) course of technical full cave diving with a double-tank diving configuration:

  • Day one: Perform a full cave navigation dive with T’s: Plan and execute a full cave dive with T’s (left/right) on your navigation profile. Use your directional and diver markers properly and stick to your rule of thirds (1/3) for air-management.
  • Day two: Perform a full cave navigation dive with jumps: Plan and execute a full cave dive with jumps (one line to another line)  on your navigation profile. Use your safety spool to create a jump from one cave line to another one and maintain a continuous touch-contact exit line. Utilize your directional and diver markers properly and stick to your rule of thirds (1/3) for air-management.
  • Day three: Perform a full cave navigation dive with a cenote crossing: Plan and execute a full cave dive with a cenote crossover (one cenote to another cenote)  on your navigation profile. Utilize your directional and diver markers properly and stick to your rule of thirds (1/3) for air-management.
  • Day four: Perform a full cave navigation dive on a circuit: Plan and execute a full cave dive on a circuit (Enter tunnel A / exit tunnel B)  on your navigation profile. Utilize your directional and diver markers properly and stick to your rule of thirds (1/3) for air-management.

Technical Intro to Cave diver certification is mandatory: we reserve the right of admission after reviewing your diving history and profile.

*This course covers a Full Cave area penetration level (NO-sunlight reference). To further progress on your technical diving check our next level specialty courses: Sidemount or DPV (Diver Propulsion Vehicle).
