Go further on your technical diving with this introductory cave navigation course. Continue your technical journey as a NACD (National Association for Cave Diving)  Intro to Cave diver. Dive beyond the cavern area into the cave and learn about simple navigation, limited penetration to 1/6 of gas supply and execute emergency exercises like: lost line & lost diver drills.

*To apply for this course you must have a technical cavern diver certification.

Guided by a NACD Full Cave Instructor, you’ll immerse on a 2 days (4 dives) course of technical cave diving with a double-tank diving configuration:

• Day one: simple cave navigation & rule of sixths for limited penetration: learn about simple navigation: with your primary reel make a safety connection from the cavern line to the main line of the cave and utilize your diver and directional makers properly. Penetrate into the cave with the conservative air-management rule of sixths (1/6) and learn about the effects in air consumption for downstream or upstream currents.
• Day two: lost line, lost diver & out of air emergency drills: learn about how to resolve complex emergency scenarios with restricted visibility conditions. Practice the lost line and lost diver emergency drills by utilizing your secondary safety spool to fish for the main line or to search into different directions for a lost diver. Practice an out of air exit from the cave with a diving buddy by touch-contact communication with the line.
